Project Engineer - Renewables

INFORM3 are seeking to appoint a Project Engineer for an exciting opportunity for an experienced Engineer to contribute to the design and delivery of large- and small-scale renewable energy projects.
Ideal for someone looking to advance in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment.
Project Engineer Key Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure and site layout design, including Civil3D cut/fill analysis
- Access track design for floating and excavated roads
- Transport route assessments and swept path analysis
- Sightline and site entrance evaluations
- Crane hardstanding layout and coordination
- Management of geotechnical site investigations
- Surface water SuDS drainage planning and reporting
- Flood risk assessments and coordination of flood analysis
- Traditional foul and surface water drainage design
- Planning submissions, drawings, and supporting documentation
- Preparation of Construction and Environmental Management Plans (CEMP)
- Transport route assessment reports for abnormal loads
- Traffic management plan development and traffic study coordination
- Civil engineering design for electrical substations and grid connections
- Layouts for AIS, GIS, and overhead/underground systems
- Preparation of BCMS and ancillary certification documentation
- Due diligence on planning and building regulation compliance
- Land registry mapping and handling of easements, rights of way, and wayleaves
- Drafting of declarations of identity
- Contract drafting, administration, and construction monitoring
- Health & Safety responsibilities as PSDP
Project Engineer Job Specification:
- Strong grasp of engineering principles and project lifecycle
- Experience collaborating across disciplines and with contractors
- High proficiency in AutoCAD and design software
- Skilled in stakeholder management and written communication
- Organised and efficient with excellent time management
- Ability to balance multiple tasks under tight deadlines
- Experience using Civil3D, Infraworks, Infodrainage, QGIS, Robot, and Tekla Tedds (desirable)
