Inform3 are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of power and energy infrastructure projects across Northern Ireland, including the Armagh area.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in utilities, power, or civil engineering projects, with the ability to manage programmes, budgets, site teams, and subcontractors while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.

This role requires a proactive leader with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of overseeing projects from initial planning through to completion and ensuring delivery on time and within budget.

Project Manager Role Overview

  • Lead the full lifecycle delivery of power and energy infrastructure projects from planning through to completion.
  • Manage project programmes, budgets, cost forecasts and risk assessments to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Oversee site teams, engineers and subcontractors, ensuring effective coordination and performance.
  • Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and senior management to provide progress updates and resolve project challenges.
  • Deliver projects including power distribution and transmission, grid support systems, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), solar PV installations, and associated civil engineering works.
  • Apply technical expertise in civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering to support project execution.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, financial management, and problem-solving skills.

Project Manager Experience Required

  • Proven experience managing with preference in power, energy, utilities, or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, programme management, and commercial control.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors.
  • Solid understanding of health & safety legislation and regulatory compliance within infrastructure projects.
  • Strong financial management, reporting, and risk management skills.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel to site locations.
