Project Manager - £30M Hotel

Only 2 nights travel to the UK a week, with an excellent opportunity to lead in the build of a RC Frame building project from site set up through to completion. Career opportunity with a Contracts Management position the next step.

Rightpath Construction is currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager, for a career opportunity based predominantly Northern Ireland. The highly successful company has in recent times increased their workload and now want to recruit for the highest standard of Construction professionals. They would like to put in place a Project Manager in November this year.

The experience needed is a Project Manager capable of running a Project valued £10M+. This is a mixture between working in the office-based role and on site. It will allow the successful Project Manager the opportunity to work on Major UK projects but based out of the offices in Northern Ireland. Applicants must be capable of providing sound technical knowledge and be influential in meetings with the Senior Contracts Director, Site Manager, Senior Engineer and clients.

Project Manager Criteria

  • Main Contracting background within New Build Projects
  • Experience in managing large New Build Commercial Projects £10M+
  • Degree / Strong Trades Background
  • Strong management and communication skills
  • Commercially and technically competent
  • Strong appreciation for health and safety, procedures and programme
  • Comfortable with managing meetings and dealing with the client and their representatives

Project Manager Duties

  • Ordering with Suppliers for the project
  • Co-ordinating Production Drawing Sign Off with client
  • Programming the Works
  • Co-ordinating Sub-Contractors with start dates etc
  • Communicating design changes/detail to sub-contractors and site manager
  • Monitoring progress on-site
  • Quality Control checks on-site
  • Sorting issues arising during project
  • Assessing defects and issuing reports for rectification
  • Liaison with client over routine project specific issues
