INFORM3 are currently seeking a Project Manager – Fit Out for a leading construction and engineering contractor delivering complex projects in Limerick.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of fit-out projects, overseeing programme, quality, health and safety, commercial performance and client relationships.
Working closely with site management, commercial, design and engineering teams, you will lead projects from planning through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. You will play a key role in driving project performance, managing resources and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
Project Manager – Fit Out Job Responsibilities
- Manage the planning, coordination and delivery of fit-out projects in line with agreed programmes, budgets and specifications.
- Lead project teams across construction, engineering, commercial and design functions.
- Monitor progress, manage project risks and ensure key milestones are achieved.
- Oversee resource allocation, procurement and subcontractor performance.
- Manage project budgets, cost control, forecasts, variations and cash flow.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety, quality and environmental compliance.
- Ensure works comply with design information, specifications and statutory requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Chair progress meetings, provide regular project reports and resolve delivery issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, control costs and maximise project performance.
Project Manager – Fit Out Requirements
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within a top tier contractor or similar construction environment.
- Experience managing fit-out projects from planning through to completion.
- Strong understanding of programme management, commercial control and contract administration.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing subcontractors.
- Knowledge of health and safety legislation, quality assurance and construction compliance.
- Relevant health and safety qualifications, such as Safe Pass, CSCS, SMSTS or equivalent, as applicable.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Professional membership of a recognised industry body, or working towards membership, is desirable.
- Experience with digital project delivery, lean construction or sustainable building practices is advantageous.
