Rightpath Construction Recruitment has an opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to work in the South coast of England. Our client has continued to develop over the last 10 years and have built a strong standing within the construction industry throughout the UK. The large-scale building contractor has completed developments in excess of £60M. The opportunity is there for a Project Manager to take the lead in the construction of a large-scale new build project. You will a proven track delivering projects in excess of £5M. You will be confident in your ability to lead both direct and subcontract staff, whilst adhering to the agreed programme.  Excellent salary and Bonus with this, with option to be paid self-employed if preferable.

Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Ability to deliver project on time and to perfection
  • Produce accurate, consistent and professional records, reports and general information
  • To carry out the role of company representation on site and to interface between the company and client
  • Manage and motivate site teams
  • Ensure all processes are being adhered to on a project by project basis
  • Ensuring that end product meets clients expectation in relation to build and finish
  • Reporting to Construction Director

Project Manager Requirements:

  • Extensive main contracting background is essential
  • Previous £5M+ project experience
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Self-motivated and hard worker
  • Strong team building skills
  • Analytical and decision-making skills
  • Technical and practical knowledge of the building industry important
  • Strong budgeting and financial management skills
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills
