Project Manager (Civil)

Rightpath are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to work in Belfast and cover the surrounding area projects. As part of the senior management team you will manage quality, cost and duration on all projects as directed by the company directors. The successful candidate will be dynamic and will contribute to the continuous growth of the business. The Role

To lead respective teams in the successful delivery of each project exceeding profitability targets whilst maintaining a safe working environment, exceed client expectations, and to have overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of all allocated projects.

Tasks involved, but not limited to:

  • Meet with clients to ascertain requirements and prepare proposals for presentation
  • Act at the main point of contact for the client
  • Manage the customer relationship during delivery to manage expectations
  • Provide solutions, advice and expertise to the client
  • Ensure the company procedures are followed and ensure policies are implemented as appropriate
  • Report to Senior Management team on project progress, risks and issues
  • Responsible for managing Health and Safety on sites
  • Responsible for forecasting & managing plant and labour resources and production on sites
  • To maintain a detailed site diary listing current operations, material orders and deliveries, plant and labour resources

Requirements

  • Degree level qualification or relevant experience, ideally civil engineering or construction related subject
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Flexibility and a willingness to work overtime when required (Rare)
  • People management skills
  • Willingness to travel if required for the role.
