INFORM3 Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a Main Contractor for:

 

Job Title – Project Manager (Construction) 

Project – RC Frame/ D&B Projects  

Job Location – London – 2 nights travel

Salary – Up to £65K plus industry leading package  

 

About the Company

Project Manager role on a new project starting soon in London.

The role is with an industry leading Tier 1 Contractor based in Northern Ireland and will require travel to London for 3 days per week.

Travel Costs and accommodation are covered by the employer as well as industry leading packages.

 

The Role

  • Coordinate and monitor and review construction drawings, specifications and work requirements.
  • Identify any issues that may arise during construction phase quickly and work with design team to overcome them in a timely manner and with little implications to project schedule.
  • Liaise with the design team to ensure works are completed according to the programme.
  • Report to and support the Contracts Manager to ensure smooth completion of project.
  • Inspect works completed by trade teams as required.
  • Direct and Manage personnel, site staff and subcontractors and manage and coordinate weekly progress meetings, workshops and plan actions.
  • Monitor construction to ensure quality of work and coordinate and liaise with Contracts Manager, Site Engineers and Service Coordinators to ensure all personnel have accurate and timely information.
  • Work closely with the Senior Engineer to ensure the quality of works being completed.

 

Requirements

  • Degree in Construction Management or similar (Third level qualification) is essential.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience with a Main Contractor in NI or ROI.
  • Experience managing Design & Build projects is essential.
  • RC Frame Experience and city centre location experience is essential.
  • Must be proficient in the use of different construction software and up to date with
  • Background in engineering is desirable.
  • Ability to effectively manage site programme and associated schedules to required deadlines and update the programme when necessary.
  • Experience managing a commercial/ residential new build valued over £10M from ground to handover.
  • Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint with Excellent IT skills and good digital and visual presentational skills.
