INFORM3 are looking to appoint a Project Manager for a Civil Public Realm project in Cork.

The successful candidate will work for a Civil Engineering Contractor with over 20 years’ experience in construction. The candidate will need to have experience in managing civil teams and working on projects that include roads, drainage, earthworks and utilities.

Project Manager responsibilities:

• Liaise with the Contracts Managers and Directors
• Develop each project as per the Project Plan ensuring timelines and deadlines are established for targets
• Be part of the selection process for sub-contractors
• Liaise with the Health & Safety Team, checking that the project meets Health & Safety requirements
• Manage and coordinate all site teams including direct and sub-contractor teams
• Continually gather reports for Site Management to discover the Project process and determine if it will be on schedule
• Ensure all site paperwork has been completed and processed for review
• Attend client and consultancy meetings, tending to any requirements  
• Maintain quality at every aspect within the project
• Maintain maximum cost effectiveness
• Attend and chair regular Site Meetings, discussing important matters

Project Manager Required Qualifications/Experience:

• Civil Engineering or Construction Management Degree
• 5 years+ experience
• Confident and experienced in managing multiple site teams
• Confident in multi-tasking and working to deadlines
• Fantastic eye for detail
• Strong communicator
• Confident in using MS Office
• Knowledge of current health and safety legislation
• Full Driving License
