Job Title – Project Manager (Residential)

Project – Residential Project 

Job Location – Co. Armagh 

Salary – Competitive Plus Package 

 

About the Company:

A leading Contractor that specialises in the construction of quality residential projects currently have a requirement for a Project Manager.

They currently have a residential project in the in the Armagh area and require a strong Project Manager with experience in delivering high volume housing developments.

This project is due to run for the next 5-10 years with 30 phases and each phase is valued at £4-5m. If you have experience running residential projects or are a Junior Project Manager looking to enhance your career then this is the perfect role for you.

The Role:

  • Coordinate and monitor and review construction programme, drawings, specifications and work requirements.
  • Update the project programme, drawings and documents as needed.
  • Report to and support the Contracts Manager and company directors to ensure that projects are carried out on time, within budget and to a high standard.
  • Direct and Manage personnel, site staff and subcontractors and manage and coordinate weekly progress meetings, workshops and plan actions.
  • Manage the procurement of materials and ensure budgets are adhered to.
  • Monitor construction to ensure quality of work and coordinate and liaise with Contracts Manager, Site Engineers and Service Coordinators to ensure all personnel have accurate and timely information.
  • Host meetings or site walks with clients to update them on the progress as required.

 

Requirements:

  • A Degree in Construction Management or similar Trade Qualification.
  • Applicants must have experience delivering a social housing development in Northern Ireland.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years proven experience working as a Project Manager with a Contractor in NI or ROI.
  • Strong awareness of H&S and Health and Welfare Regulations and ability to implement these regulations on site.
  • Ability to effectively manage site programme and associated schedules to required deadlines.
  • Strong I.T skills are essential. (Microsoft Suite including Project).
  • Clean Driver’s license.
