Project Manager / Contracts Manager – Meath & Dublin

INFORM3 are seeking to appoint a Project Manager / Contracts Manager for civil projects in Meath and Dublin. The successful candidate will work for a fantastic Civil Engineering Contractor with a number of live projects. The client is seeking a Project Manager / Contracts Manager to join their expanding team. The candidate will need to have experience in managing civil projects particularly roads, utilities, earthworks and groundworks, and also confident in managing civil teams.

 

Project Manager / Contracts Manager Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the Directors
  • Develop the project plan for each project, establishing timelines and targets
  • Be part of the selection process for sub-contractors
  • Manage all site teams and visit sites regularly
  • Continually keep progression on each project moving in an effective and efficient manner
  • Liaise with the Health & Safety Team, ensuring each project meets regulations and procedures
  • Ensure all relevant paperwork is collated, reviewed and actioned
  • Attend client/consultant meetings, being the point of contact for all of their queries
  • Ensure the company’s policy on quality is adhered to at all levels on site
  • Manage emergency situations
  • Coordinate and manage daily site meetings, discussing any issues or barriers and how best to overcome them
  • Attend Senior Management meetings

 

Project Manager / Contracts Manager Specification:

  • Civil Engineering or Construction Management Degree
  • 7 years’ plus experience
  • Experience in managing multiple civil teams and projects
  • Able to multi-task confidently
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Fantastic communicator
  • Confident in using Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of current health and safety legislation
  • Full Driving License
