Project Manager – Belfast, Down & Armagh

INFORM3 are looking to appoint a Project Manager for water projects across Belfast, Down & Armagh. The candidate will work for a client that has well over 30 years’ experience in the construction industry and a specialist in Civil Engineering. The successful candidate will need to be a self-starter with the ability to adapt to various situations and use their initiative to oversee the project from start to finish.

Project Manager responsibilities:

• Report into the Contracts Managers and Directors
• Develop each project as per the project plan
• Conduct Sub-contractor selection for each project
• Regularly meet with Site Management, conducting progress meetings and motivate teams to reach targets and objectives
• Arrange and Plan resources for each project ensuring there is sufficient allocation
• Ensure each Project is meeting Health & Safety and Quality Standards
• Be the point of contact for the client, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded
• Attend client/consultant meetings
• Maintain maximum cost effectiveness
• Complete site visits and whilst on site conduct meetings with the wider team
• Ensure site paperwork is processed and discussed at regular meetings

Project Manager Required Qualifications/Experience:

• Civil Engineering or Construction Management Degree
• 5 years’ plus experience in a relevant / similar position
• Proven experience in Project Management
• Able to lead several teams and multi-task
• Excellent attention to detail
• Extremely motivated
• Confident in using Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of current health and safety legislation
• Experience in managing civil projects
• Full Driving License
