Project Manager – Derry / Londonderry

 

INFORM3 are currently recruiting for a Project Manager on large utility projects in Derry / Londonderry. The successful candidate will join a Civil Engineering Contractor that is well known throughout Northern Ireland and the UK. The client greatly values their workforce, ensuring their safety is always a top priority and due to this their team is able to provide continued high-quality projects.

The successful candidate will need to be experienced in managing civil teams and working on civil projects involving utilities, groundworks, ducting and foundations.

 

Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Report into the Contracts Manager and Directors
  • Ensure the project is developed as per the project plan taking into account budgets, deadlines and targets.
  • Be part of the selection process for sub-contractors
  • Coordinate all direct and sub-contractor teams, clearly communicating on the required duties and tasks
  • Source and coordinate Plant, Machinery and Equipment
  • Liaise regularly with the client, ensuring their requirements are met
  • Be present for Client meetings
  • Attend Senior Management and Site Team meetings discussing site progress
  • Ensure all site paperwork is completed and processed for reports
  • Attend sites checking on quality of workmanship
  • Liaise regularly with office staff in regards to site requirements
  • Ensure Health & Safety is maintained at all levels on site

 

Project Manager Required Qualifications/Experience:

  • Civil Engineering or Construction Management Degree
  • 5 years plus relevant experience
  • Experience of Project Management
  • Experience of managing civil teams
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Able to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Knowledge of current health and safety legislation
  • Confident in the use of MS Office
  • Full Driving License
