Project Manager – Limerick

 

INFORM3 are currently recruiting for a Project Manager on a road project in Limerick. The successful candidate will work for a Civil Engineering contractor that has a fantastic relationship and experiencing year on year growth. The candidate will need to be very confident in managing civil projects with particular experience and knowledge on road projects involving drainage.

 

Project Manager responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the Contracts Manager and Directors
  • Progress the project as per the Project Plan, establishing targets and objectives for the site teams
  • Oversight and management of sub-contractor selection, appointment, and management
  • Attend site and conduct reports establishing actual site progress against the Project timeline
  • Regular meet with Site Management, chairing site meetings and discussing any issues
  • Ensure the project is delivered in line with quality and health & safety procedures and legislation requirements
  • Ensure all relevant information is collated, reviewed and actioned
  • Attend client meetings, preparing for any requirements and responding accordingly  
  • Monitor construction, regarding quality of workmanship
  • Manage and select Plant, Materials and Equipment ensuring the site has sufficient supplies

 

Project Manager Required Qualifications/Experience:

  • Construction Management or Civil Engineering Degree
  • 5 years plus experience in a similar position
  • Confident in managing civil works and site teams
  • Excellent communicator
  • Able to manage multi-activities and work to deadlines
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Knowledge of current health and safety legislation 
  • Confident in the use of Microsoft Word
  • Full Driving License
