Project Manager – Cork

INFORM3 are seeking to appoint a Project Manager for a Civil project in Cork. The successful candidate will work for a fantastic Civil Engineering Contractor with a number of live projects. The client is seeking a Project Manager to join their expanding team. The candidate will need to have experience in managing civil projects particularly utilities, ducting, groundworks and earthworks.

 

Project Manager responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the Contracts Manager regarding project progress
  • Manage each project from conception to completion
  • Manage timelines and budgets for each project
  • Select and coordinate sub-contractor site teams
  • Manage and monitor site activity, regularly checking on quality
  • Continually keep progression on each project moving in an effective and efficient manner
  • Liaise with the Health & Safety Team, ensuring each project meets regulations
  • Ensure all relevant paperwork is collated, reviewed and actioned
  • Attend client/consultant meetings, ensuring requirements are met and exceeded  
  • Conduct Site Meetings when appropriate
  • Gather reports from Site Management
  • Attend Senior Management Meetings

 

Project Manager Specification:

  • Civil Engineering or Construction Management Degree
  • 6 years plus experience
  • Experience in managing multiple civil teams and projects
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Confident in multi-tasking and working towards deadlines
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Confident in using Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of current health and safety legislation
  • Full Driving License
