Project Manager – North & West Dublin

INFORM3 are seeking to appoint a Project Manager for groundworks and concrete projects in North & West Dublin. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to adapt to various situations and use their initiative to oversee the project from start to finish. The candidate will work for a specialist Civil Engineering Contractor that is extremely busy due to continued demand for their services.

 

Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the Contracts Manager and Directors
  • Develop each individual Project - establishing sequence and timing of operations necessary for the completion of the work and ensure all necessary resources are in place
  • Oversight and management of sub-contractor selection, appointment, and management
  • Visit sites regularly, motivating staff to achieve targets and deadlines
  • Ensure there is compliance of quality and health and safety procedures and legislation requirements
  • Ensure all relevant information is collated, reviewed and actioned at regular contract review meetings.
  • Be the point of contact for the client
  • Attend client/consultant meetings, prepare and respond to the requirements of the meeting to ensure
  • Chair Site Meetings discussing any pressing issues
  • Maintain maximum cost effectiveness
  • Attend Senior Management Meetings providing regular progress reports
  • Handle emergency situations

 

Project Manager Specification:

  • Civil Engineer or Construction Management Degree
  • 5 plus relevant years’ experience
  • Experience in RC Frame and Groundworks
  • Strong track record of successful project management
  • Confident communicator
  • Highly organised
  • Exceptional attention to detail evidenced through successful project(s) delivery and client satisfaction
  • Focused on continuous project /process improvement and balancing client expectations against business interest
  • Knowledge of current health and safety legislation
  • Full Driving License
