INFORM Recruitment are currently representing a leading Manufacturing Company working within the Automation sector. They are currently looking for a Project Manager to deliver Automation projects and equipment to the Medical Device Industry.

The successful individual will be involved in the co-ordination and development of the companies existing and future projects. The role requires 2-3 years’ experience in a similar position within the industry.  

Responsibilities of the Role:

The position requires a proactive customer driven approach, demonstrating full ownership and responsibility for implementing and completing projects.

  • Provide coordination for automation activities and projects.
  • Ensure the business and the departments within are achieving quality standards, budget and schedule.
  • Provide technical co-ordination, with a hands-on approach, to deliver the key technical objectives in line with the company’s strategy.
  • Identify any project risks and recommend appropriate resolutions.
  • Ensure the design team are meeting all relevant standards and that drawings and models for the projects are suitable for manufacturing.
  • Attend meetings with the business clients and departments within the business as appropriate.
  • Operate and deliver multiple projects.
  • Ensure the goals of the project are met, monitor and report the progress to customers and internal stakeholders.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Hold 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in the Automation Industry.
  • Knowledge of the Medical Device sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good leadership skills.
  • Strong knowledge of using Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work well within a team.
  • Good organisational and planning skills.
