Project Manager – Dublin

INFORM3 are recruiting for a Project Manager to complete civils and utility works in Dublin. The successful candidate will work for a fantastic Civil Engineering Contractor with a number of live projects. The client is seeking a Project Manager to join their expanding team. The candidate will need to have experience in managing civil projects particularly roads, utilities, earthworks and groundworks, and also confident in managing civil teams.

 

Project Manager responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the Contracts Managers and Directors
  • Develop the project plan for each project, ensuring that timing of operations is aligned with deadlines
  • Be part of the selection process for sub-contractors
  • Manage and coordinate all site teams including direct and sub-contractor workforces
  • Continually ensure there is progression on each project moving in an effective and efficient manner
  • Liaise with the Health & Safety Team, ensuring each project meets regulations and procedures
  • Ensure all relevant paperwork is collated, reviewed and actioned
  • Attend client/consultant meetings, prepare and respond to any requirements
  • Ensure the company’s policy on quality is adhered to at all levels on site
  • Maintain maximum cost effectiveness
  • Coordinate and manage daily site meetings, discussing any issues or barriers and how best to overcome them
  • Coordinate Site Management meetings
  • Attend Senior Management meetings

 

Project Manager Specification:

  • Civil Engineering or Construction Management Degree
  • 5 years plus experience in a relevant position
  • Experience in managing multiple civil teams and projects
  • Able to multi-task confidently
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Fantastic communicator
  • Confident in using Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of current health and safety legislation
  • Full Driving License
