Project Manager – NI with travel to London

INFORM3 are currently recruiting for a Project Manager for a number of utility projects centred in London. The client is based within NI and happy to provide the option for the successful candidate to travel weekly to London and have some time based in the NI office.

The client is seeking a candidate that has a strong civils background having worked previously on water, sewers, and drainage.

 

Project Manager responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the Contracts Manager
  • Develop a project plan from inception to completion taking into account all relevant statutory and client requirements, establish targets with respect to project delivery; monitor and report on progress against these targets.
  • Be responsible for coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects including management and delivery of project milestones
  • Manage all site teams, providing clear direction regarding specific requirements and deadlines
  • Monitor Health & Safety, making sure all site teams adhere to regulations
  • Ensure all relevant information is collated, reviewed and actioned at regular contract review meetings.
  • Attend client/consultant meetings, prepare and respond to the requirements of the meeting to ensure
  • Monitor quality of workmanship and materials
  • Manage the decision-making process by carrying out all necessary liaison and negotiations with all parties involved ensuring value for money
  • Check and understand all drawings and specification. Ensure that any errors/omissions are formally communicated to the design team in timely manner.

 

Project Manager Specification:

  • Construction Management or Civil Engineer Degree / Extensive Background
  • A track record and experience of project management
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage relationships with all involved parties constructively and collaboratively
  • Exceptional attention to detail evidenced through successful project(s) delivery and client satisfaction
  • Knowledge of current health and safety legislation
  • Successful communicator
  • Extensive experience using Microsoft Office
  • Full Driving License
