Project Manager – Northern Ireland

INFORM3 are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to oversee several utility and groundwork projects in Down, Armagh, Antrim, Fermanagh and Tyrone. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to adapt to various situations and use their initiative to oversee the project from start to finish. The candidate will work for a client that has many years of experience in the civil engineering industry and puts pride in quality work and forming genuine and long last relationships with clients.

 

Project Manager responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the Contracts Manager
  • Develop Project Plans - establishing sequence and timing of operations necessary for the completion of the work and ensure all necessary resources are in place
  • Manage direct staff and oversee the appointment of specialist sub-contractors
  • Director all site management teams ensuring weekly and monthly objectives are completed
  • Ensure Quality, Health & Safety procedures and legislation requirements are adhered too
  • Ensure all relevant information is collated, reviewed and actioned at regular contract review meetings.
  • Attend client/consultant meetings, prepare and respond to the requirements of the meeting to ensure
  • Check and understand all drawings and specification. Ensure that any errors/omissions are formally communicated to the design team in timely manner.
  • Coordinate Site Management meetings
  • Attend Site Meetings when appropriate
  • Provide regular reports to Senior Management

 

Project Manager Specification:

  • Civil Engineer or Construction Management Degree
  • 6 years’ plus in a similar position
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage relationships successfully
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Knowledge of current health and safety legislation
  • Highly motivated and organised
  • Full Driving License
