Project Manager - Limerick

Job Title – Project Manager

Project – Residential

Job Location – Limerick

Salary – €70K - €85K  b.o.e

About the Company

Working with a leading Tier 2 contractor on a housing development in Limerick. The project is a mix of low-rise residential buildings.

My client requires a strong PM who has technical and administrative abilities as well as experience managing new build residential developments with over 50 units at a time.

The Role

• Coordinate and monitor and review construction drawings, specifications and work requirements.
• Liaise with the design team to ensure works are completed according to the programme.
• Report to the Contracts Manager.
• Direct and Manage personnel, site staff and subcontractors and manage and coordinate weekly progress meetings, workshops and plan actions.
• Monitor construction to ensure quality of work and coordinate and liaise with Contracts Manager, Site Engineers and Service Coordinators to ensure all personnel have accurate and timely information.
• Liaise with local authorities as required.
• Identify and overcome any issues that may arise during construction phase and work with the design team and architect to minimise any delays.

Requirements

• Degree in Construction Management or similar (Third level qualification) is essential.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager with a Main Contractor.
• Due to the nature of this project applicants must have experience managing new build schemes.
• Background in engineering is desirable.
• Ability to effectively manage site programme and associated schedules to required deadlines.
• Experience managing multiple subcontractors at a time.
• Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint with Excellent IT skills and good digital and visual presentational skills.
