Project Manager - Cork

Inform3 are recruiting for a busy contractor who is very active in the Munster area. The project is a residential development located in Cork.

Job Title: Project Manager

Job Location: Cork

Salary: €70k - €80k

Sector: Residential

The Role

• Appointing and managing multiple subcontractors on site in conjunction with the Site Foreman.
• Extracting information from drawings & spec
• Issuing works packages to subcontractors in conjunction with the Contracts Manager.
• Developing 4-week plan in line with the construction programme - implement on site.
• Aiding in the design of the construction programme in conjunction with the Contracts Manager
• Co-ordinating deliveries for the project with the Purchasing Department
• Ensuring plant and equipment is sourced and ready
• Attending daily/weekly meetings with the client.
• Managing safety on site and carrying out safety audits.
• Managing quality on site and carrying out inspections/issuing sign-offs.
• Recording progress and managing design changes/delays on site ensuring the QS is notified of any delays or cost implications
• Reporting KPI’s to Contracts Manager on a monthly basis.

Job Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience in a Project Manager role
• Bachelor's degree is preferred
• Ability to maintain high levels of Health & Safety and Quality on site.
• Good engineering knowledge and problem-solving skills essential.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a large team.
