Project Manager - Meath

Inform3 are recruiting for a main contractor on an 80-unit housing project in Meath. The project will run from January lasting 15-18 months. Value is €21m.

Salary: €85,000 - €95,000

The Role

• Appointing and managing multiple subcontractors on site in conjunction with the Site Foreman.
• Extracting information from drawings & spec
• Issuing works packages to subcontractors in conjunction with the Contracts Manager.
• Aiding in the design of the construction programme in conjunction with the Contracts Manager
• Co-ordinating deliveries for the project with the Purchasing Department
• Scheduling, planning & programming works
• Ensuring plant and equipment is sourced and ready
• Attending daily/weekly meetings with the client.
• Managing safety on site and carrying out safety audits.
• Recording progress and managing design changes/delays on site ensuring the QS is notified of any delays or cost implications

Job Requirements

• Ideally degree qualified in Engineering/Construction Management or something similar
• Minimum of 5 years +’ experience with a Main Contractor in Ireland or elsewhere as a Project Manager on £15m+ projects.
• Residential experience
• Motivated individual with excellent negotiation/communication skills.
• Good I.T. Skills, including Microsoft Office/Excel and Microsoft Project.
• The ability to make decisions under pressure and use your initiative; problem-solving skills in other words.
• Good leadership skills to motivate and direct your team.
• Excellent organisational skills to use your resources to ensure deadlines are met and the project budget is maintained.
