Company Overview: Our client, a Tier 2 Building Contractor, specializes in executing high-value and high-profile contracts across ROI. This position is ideal for a seasoned Project Manager experienced in overseeing projects valued at €20M or more, from inception to completion. The company also provides a clear pathway for career growth into Contracts Management roles.
The Position: In this role, you will be responsible for the coordination, monitoring, and review of construction drawings, specifications, and work requirements. Collaboration with the design team to ensure adherence to project timelines is crucial. Supporting the Contracts Manager and reporting to them will be part of your responsibilities to ensure project completion remains seamless. Your role will encompass directing and managing personnel, site staff, and subcontractors, as well as overseeing progress meetings, workshops, and corresponding action plans. Maintaining construction quality, effective communication with various stakeholders, and closely collaborating with the Senior Engineer to uphold work standards will be essential.
Qualifications: - A degree in Construction Management or a related field (Third-level qualification) is a requirement. - A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Project Manager within a Main Contractor or Property Developer setting. - A proven track record of successfully overseeing projects exceeding €20M from inception to conclusion. - Background in engineering would be advantageous. - Proficiency in managing site programs, adhering to schedules, and updating as needed. - Experience managing multiple subcontractors concurrently. - Comprehensive knowledge of software applications such as Microsoft Office, Project, and PowerPoint. - Exceptional IT skills and adeptness in digital and visual presentations.
