INFORM3 Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a Main Contractor for:

 

Job Title – Project Manager

Project – Hotel/Residential Fit Out

Location – HQ and Scotland

Salary – £70K - £80K Plus package

 

About the Company:

A fantastic opportunity to work with a very busy, and well-established Sub Contractor on Hotel/Residential Fit Out projects.

This role will be a mix office and site based hence applicants must be flexible in terms of travel – as they will be required to travel to site in Scotland.

 

Duties Include:

  • Develop a project plan and ensure the necessary resources are organised to meet the plan. Continually monitor progress and take all necessary steps to ensure the completion date is met.
  • Develop a project budget and ensure the project is delivered within that budget
  • Ensure that all work is carried out to the client’s specifications.
  • Ensure that the project resources i.e. staff, labour, plant, materials and sub-contractors are effectively managed.
  • Liaise with clients and their agents to advise on progress and problem resolution as required.
  • Ensure contractual conditions are adhered to and the contractual position is not compromised.
  • Monitor the financial performance of the project and take all necessary steps to minimise costs.
  • Proactively develop relationships with clients.
  • Proactively participate in value engineering to maximise project contribution.
  • Ensure that a high standard of safety is maintained throughout the project and that all relevant environmental and health & safety regulations and procedures are adhered to.

Essential Criteria:

  • Project Management experience on interior fit-out type projects.
  • Experience managing contracts circa £10M + for Project Manager.
  • Third level qualification in a construction related subject or trades background with extensive management experience.
  • Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and promote successful customer relationships.
  • Experience working in a pressurised environment and can keep calm under pressure.
  • Strong influencing, negotiating and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable.
