Project Manager - Dublin

INFORM3 Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a Main Contractor for:

Job Title – Project Manager   

Project – Commercial - €50M+    

Job Location – Dublin City

Salary – €80,000 - €90,000 + Package

About the Company

Very busy Tier 1 Main Contractor specialising in D&B Residential and Commercial Projects valued up to €200M across the Leinster Region.

They work across a broad range of sectors and are keen to chat to strong Project Managers who are capable of running projects from start to handover – groundworks underpinning piling, frame up, fit out, M&E etc.   

Ideally looking someone with experience with a large main contractor or developer in Dublin who has managed the complete construction of projects valued over €20M.

The Role

• Manage the complete construction from start through to handover in a commercial project.  
• Coordinate and monitor and review construction drawings, specifications and work requirements.
• Attend weekly – fortnightly meetings with Contracts Director and Client to update them on the progress of the project.
• Liaise with the design team to ensure works are completed according to the programme.
• Report to and support the Contracts Director to ensure smooth completion of project.
• Be the number one on site for all direct and indirect staff.
• Direct and Manage personnel, site staff and subcontractors and manage and coordinate weekly progress meetings, workshops and plan actions.
• Monitor construction to ensure quality of work and coordinate and liaise with Contracts Manager, Site Engineers and Service Coordinators to ensure all personnel have accurate and timely information.
• Work closely with the Senior Engineer to ensure the quality of works being completed.
• Coordinate all finishings including internal and external getting the houses ready for sell.
• Handover the houses to client in preparation for sale.

Requirements

• Degree in Construction Management or similar (Third level qualification) is essential.
• Proven record of managing mission critical projects from start to finish.
• A minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a senior management role in Dublin
• Experience managing commercial projects valued over €20M from start to handover.
• Ability to effectively manage site programme and associated schedules to required deadlines and update the programme when necessary.
• Efficiently uses software like AutoDesk, ProCore, ms project etc.
• Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint with Excellent IT skills and good digital and visual presentational skills.
