INFORM3  are seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to join their team and take responsibility for delivering a range of civil engineering and infrastructure projects across the region for an established and growing contractor.

With 5–6 projects potentially running at any one time, this is a senior position for someone who can take ownership of project delivery, coordinate multiple teams and subcontractors and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager with experience in civil works, renewable energy, utilities, wastewater or general construction who is looking to take ownership of projects from planning through to completion.

Civil Project Manager Responsibilities

• Work closely with the General Manager to oversee multiple live projects.
• Take responsibility for the successful delivery of civil engineering and construction projects.
• Manage project programmes, resources, budgets and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and other project stakeholders.
• Oversee multiple work packages from commencement through to completion.
• Monitor progress against programme and address any issues that may affect delivery.
• Manage subcontractor performance and ensure works are completed to the required standards.
• Attend site and project meetings and provide regular updates to senior management.
• Ensure projects are delivered in line with H&S, quality and environmental requirements.
• Assist with planning, procurement and resource allocation across the project portfolio.
• Identify and resolve technical, operational and programme-related issues.
• Support the continued growth and development of the project team.

Civil Project Manager Specification:

• Minimum 2 years' experience managing civil engineering or construction projects.
• Proven experience managing programmes, site teams and subcontractors.
• Strong understanding of project delivery and construction processes.
• Experience managing multiple projects or work packages would be advantageous.
• Renewable energy experience is desirable, but not essential.
• Candidates from a main contractor or large housebuilder background will also be considered, particularly where they have strong subcontractor and multi-package management experience.
• Strong communication, organisation and leadership skills.
• Commercially aware with excellent problem-solving ability.
• Relevant engineering/construction qualification preferred.
• Full driving licence.
