Civil Project Manager
Job Location: Belfast/Dublin

INFORM3 are recruiting for an established infrastructure contractor, seeking an experienced Project Manager to help deliver major projects across power, utilities, civils, energy and wider infrastructure across Ireland.

This is a key front-end role, responsible for developing major opportunities from initial feasibility and client engagement through tender and into delivery. The successful candidate will work closely with commercial, estimating, design, planning, procurement and operational teams to ensure projects are commercially sound, technically robust and buildable.

Civil Project Manager Key Responsibilities

  • Lead pre-construction activities from early opportunity through to tender, award and handover.
  • Develop tender, commercial and delivery strategies for major infrastructure projects.
  • Coordinate estimating, commercial, design, planning, procurement and delivery teams.
  • Review drawings, specifications and tender information to identify risks, scope gaps and opportunities.
  • Develop construction methodologies, programmes, phasing and project execution strategies.
  • Provide buildability and construction input into design and project planning.
  • Support pricing, risk reviews, contractual assessments and tender negotiations.
  • Identify key programme, access, utility, environmental and stakeholder constraints.
  • Ensure effective governance, documentation and handover into project delivery.

Civil Project Manager Candidate Specification

  • Significant experience in pre-construction, tendering, bid management or major project development.
  • Background within infrastructure, utilities, power, energy, civils or related construction sectors.
  • Experience working on complex, multi-disciplinary tenders and projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodology, buildability, programme, procurement, commercial and risk management.
  • Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, programmes and contract information.
  • Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills.
  • Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction, Quantity Surveying, Project Management or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with NEC/JCT contracts and major infrastructure clients would be advantageous.
  • Exposure to power, utilities, renewable energy, EV, data centres, transport or major civils would be highly relevant.
