Salary – £50K-£60K

About the Company

A fantastic opportunity to work on a new build residential development in North Dublin with a Top 40 NI Contractor who specialise in residential and commercial projects in North Dublin, Louth and Meath.

The Project is a new build RC Frame Development in North Dublin, ideal location for someone from Co Down, Armagh, Monaghan, Louth, Dublin etc.

Complete new build project starting after Christmas.

The Role

• Coordinate and monitor and review construction drawings, specifications and work requirements.
• Coordinate/Manage the design approval stage and site set up.
• Work with design team from preconstruction stages through to completion and effectively manage any design issues that may arise during the construction process.
• Liaise with the design team to ensure works are completed according to the programme.
• Update programme accordingly.
• Report to and support the Contracts Manager and Client.
• Direct and Manage personnel, site staff and subcontractors and manage and coordinate weekly progress meetings, workshops and plan actions.
• Monitor the procurement of materials and ensure budget set is adhered to.
• Monitor construction to ensure quality of work and coordinate and liaise with Contracts Manager, Site Engineers and Service Coordinators to ensure all personnel have accurate and timely information.

Requirements

• Degree in Construction Management or similar (Third level qualification) is essential.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager.
• Experience managing new build RC Frame projects is essential to the nature of this role.
• Ideally engineering background.
• Experience taking a residential development from concept to completion.
• Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint with Excellent IT skills and good digital and visual presentational skills.
• Engineering background is preferred.
