Project Manager - South Dublin

Rightpath Construction Recruitment has an exciting new opportunity for a Project Manager with one of Irelands leading Builders. The company is one of the longest standing Construction Contractors in Ireland and boasts an excellent reputation within the industry for staff Training & Development, Career Progression and Staff Welfare. They would be keen to attract a Project Manager who has a proven track record within the Irish or UK Market delivering projects in excess of €10M.

The project, valued close to €20M will give the Project Manager an opportunity to take the development from the start through to completion. Demolition phase to the project along with a RC frame structure, high spec internal fitout along with a considerable façade on the building. The project has an 24-month programme, not including demolition phase. Excellent opportunity with a Market leading salary on offer.

Project Manager Criteria

• Engineering Background Preferable
• 10 years' experience as a Site Manager / Project Manager
• RC Frame experience preferable
• Project list of contacts €10M and above
• Strong team building skills
• Analytical and decision-making skills
• Technical and practical knowledge of the building industry important
• Strong budgeting and financial management skills
• Excellent written and oral presentation skills

Project Manager Duties

Reporting to the Contracts Director

• Overall management of the Project
• Managing project staff to establish and maintain highly motivated and dedicated project teams.
• Monitor site progress and communicate programme and subsequent changes to all affected parties. Intervene and agree action plans to recover delays where possible.
• Keep the Project on time and within budget
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and consultants.
