Job Title – Project Manager

Job Location – Belfast

Salary - £70,000 - £80,000

About the Company

Tier 1 Main building contractor exceeding €100M turnover. This contractor is renowned for their excellent salary and benefits package and known for good structures in place for career advancement

The Role

• Working closely with the Contracts Manager
• Managing all aspects of Historical façade and refurb
• Ensure all best practises for health and safety are being followed.
• Delivery of capital projects on budget and to schedule.
• Overseeing & organising the various project work streams to ensure a successful project delivery.
• participating in preparation of necessary documents for inclusion on tender submissions, including site visits
• Planning and programming of work

Requirements

• Degree qualification with a minimum of 7 years’ experience at Project Manager level.
• Proven experience in successfully delivering projects in one of our key areas, ideally as a main contractor.
• Projects involving listed/protected structures is desirable.
• Excellent ability to analyse and interpret contractual documents.
• Strong commercial awareness and cost control ability with a proven track record in the area of construction planning.
• Technical competence with the ability to set and track project milestones and deliverables.
• Extensive experience in leading and directing project teams and effectively managing sub-contractors.
• Superior oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications, e.g., MS Office, including ability to use programming software – e.g. MS Project/Powerproject etc.
