Project Managers & Assistant Project Managers
Job Location: England Midlands/North England
Sector: Civil

Inform3 are recruiting for project managers and assistant project managers for a tier 1 civils contractor carrying out work on a range of exciting projects, including fibre installation within the telecommunications division and various civil engineering projects.

Accommodation/flights will be supplied where required – hybrid working options also available.

 

Project Manager Job Role:

  • Oversee structural activity
  • Able to multi-task and mentor other site members
  • Managing budget and ordering in materials
  • Assist in controlling traffic on-site
  • Maintain excellent relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors and site personnel.
  • Attend weekly meetings to update senior management, clients and directors on the progress of the project.
  • Oversee the scope, cost, timelines, risk, quality issues, and communications.
  • Complete Audits in-line with KPI's set as per Contract.
  • Supervise works and check the quality of works to ensure they are of a high standard.
  • Adhere to Health and Safety Regulations and ensure the site team adheres to them also.
  • Co-ordinate site meetings
     

Project Manager Job Requirements:

  • 5+ Years relevant experience
  • Civil Engineer/Construction Management Degree
  • Heavy Civils Knowledge
  • Previous telecoms/utility experience is preferred but not essential
  • Working towards/have PRINCE2 Registered Practitioner / PMI / PMP / CAPM or similar qualification
  • GIS/ AutoCAD knowledge or similar system knowledge to include Deponet or Apex.
  • Hold a current H&S Qualification to include Nebosh, IOSH or similar.
  • Hold a CSR / CSCS or similar site card.
  • NRSWA / Street works qualified.
  • Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and PowerPoint.
