Building Contractor seeking a Purchasing Administrator based in Cavan!


Purchasing Administrator- Cavan 

The Company 

Building contractor have a fantastic opportunity for a Purchasing Administrator to join the purchasing team.

Your role will be varied but provide you with exposure to all areas of the industry, joining a successful contractor will open a lot of career opportunities. 


  • Assisting & supporting the purchasing department 
  • Checking PO against invoices and raising PO's for sites. 
  • Matching PO to POD & purchase invoice
  • Requesting missing PODs from suppliers
  • Sending invoices to sites for approval
  • Quotation & pricing requests
  • Print drawings for site as required
  • Assist with completion of site files & purchase Invoice retrievals
  • Assisting in completion of multiple weekly reports 
  • Assisting with sub-contract tender enquiries Input data 
  • Holiday cover & other ad hoc duties as required

What you need

  • Ideally experience within Construction but not essential
  • Administrative background/ experience 
  • Experience working within Purchasing department is desirable 
  • Proactive, enthusiastic
  • Proficient in Microsoft excel and project
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
