QA/QC Engineer Cork €55-65k
Our client based in Dublin is recruiting for a QA/QC Inspector able to ensure compliance of all company projects and processes in line with industry legislation.
The main responsibilities will be to validate the work of all engineers including inspections, equipment, processes and products, supporting quality control systems and determining corrective actions. You will also work with managers and engineers to implement and support quality measures.
Responsibilities
- Conducting work in progress and post inspections to ensure compliance and projects are undertaken in line with the company’s contractual obligations
- To identify any gaps in knowledge/skills and feedback to line managers where additional training is required
- Maintaining expertise and knowledge of relevant legislation & technologies
- Work alongside Health & Safety to ensure compliance targets are met
- Collating reports on safety visits and inspections and ensuring records are maintained and kept
- Be a proactive member of the quality team and contribute to new ideas and initiatives and meetings.
Requirements
- Third level Qualification advantageous
- 5+ years of experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, or a similar role
- Experience in Civil or Electrical Engineering
- Strong communication skills/Strong problem-solving skills.
- Computer literate
