Quality Assurance Engineer            Co. Monaghan               Salary: Competitive

INFORM3 are recruiting for a Quality Assurance Engineer for our successful client based in County Monaghan to maintain an independent quality overview over our client’s processes and outputs.

The ideal candidate should have around 2+ years’ experience in a similar role with proven experience implementing and overseeing quality improvements in the manufacturing sector and will report to the Technical Manager.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team where you can further develop your skills and knowledge. You will be responsible for ensuring that all product manufactured is done within the company regulations and guidelines.

Duties Include:

• To maintain product quality and safety.
• Carry out goods-in inspection on delivery of produce, ingredients, and packaging.
• Carry out daily quality checks of produce and issue quality reports.
• Carry out site inspections, GMP, Glass & Gard Plastics, Hygiene, and fabrication.
• Ensure the Quality Management System is being properly implemented throughout the business, ensure all employees are following all Food Safety practices
• Monitor completion of paperwork by production operators to ensure all checks are being carried out and documented correctly and on time.
• Monitor activities and maintain effective communication with production, maintenance, and goods-in personnel to ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Complete all quality records and ensure records are filed correctly.
• Ensuring food safety is maintained throughout the process in accordance with the companies’ policies and procedures.

Essential Criteria:

• Degree or Equivalent in Food Science or other relevant field.
• 2+ years’ experience within Quality Assurance Role.
• HACCP Implementation and Verifications knowledge.
• BRC audit experience
• Excellent Verbal and Non-Verbal Communication.
• Ability to work on your own and within a team environment.
• Strong “can-do” attitude.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.
