Job Title – Quality Controller

Job Location – West Cork

Salary – €40K - €50K BOE

About the Company:

INFORM3 are recruiting for a Quality Controller to maintain an independent quality overview over our client’s processes and outputs. The ideal candidate should have around 2+ years’ experience in a similar role with proven experience implementing and overseeing quality improvements in the manufacturing sector.

Roles & Responsibilities Include:

• Take direct responsibility for all the quality processes and procedures
• Ensure that the Quality Management Systems are maintained for manufacturing, control, storage and distribution processes.
• Work with production/sales/innovation departments to manager Supplier Quality and Compliance.
• Ensure regulatory compliance requirements are met.
• Implement and maintain policies and procedures for all Quality actions within the business.
• Perform problem identification, resolution, loss reporting and continuous improvement.
• Develop, execute and analyse quality reporting measures.
• Assist and manage other functional department employees to ensure knowledge of all quality standards are adhered to and ensure compliance to all quality manuals and procedures.
• Engage with the supply chain and project team for a correct deployment of quality processes.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits.
• Compile and monitor the key quality indicators at the site.

Essential Criteria:

• 2+ years’ experience working as a Quality Engineer.
• Degree or Equivalent within a scientific discipline.
• Experience in FMGS and leading a team.
• Proven ability to work efficiently without direct supervision.
• Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to motivate others to achieve results.
• Knowledge of standards and outcomes for quality, health and safety.
• Good attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
