An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading Manufacturing Company based in Galway. The business is currently looking for a Quality Engineer to join their ever-expanding team.

This is an exciting time to join a highly dedicated team of motivated individuals, with a lot happening and an eager attitude for work. The successful candidate should have 3+ years’ experience in a similar role, with knowledge of the Manufacturing and Pharmaceutical Industry.

Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Preform problem identification, resolution, loss reporting and continuous improvement.
  • Being an expert for quality control and management of custom manufactured produce.
  • Develop and determine all standards to preform inspection and tests on all procedures.
  • Participate in internal and external quality audit.
  • Work on projects from concept through to completion.
  • Be accountable for the quality arrangement and documentation of every activity within the business.
  • Engage with the supply chain and project team for a correct deployment of quality processes.
  • Assist with other functional department employees to ensure knowledge of all quality standards and ensure compliance to all quality manuals and procedures. 
  • Develop, execute and analyse quality reporting measures.
  • Perform surveillance visits of all work methods and maintain knowledge on all quality assurance standards.
  • Conduct internal audits and liaise with key stakeholders across the business.

Experience and Knowledge:

The successful candidate should have 3+ years’ experience as a Quality Engineer or similar, with this they should hold extensive knowledge of the Manufacturing and Pharmaceutical Industry. They should be qualified to a minimum HNC Level in a relevant subject.
