Quality Engineer                    Co. Galway                 €40-45K

A leading Pharmaceuticals Company based in Co. Galway are currently looking for a Quality Engineer to join their ever-expanding business. They require an experienced Quality Engineer to be at the centre of improvements to the quality processes.

The role offers the chance to join a great team with high ambitions. The successful candidate will be presented with the opportunity to work on new and innovative developments and products and grow with the company as it continually progresses through the industry.

Main Duties:

  • Design and implement the quality processes across production.
  • Be accountable for the quality arrangement and documentation of every activity within the business.
  • Setting manufacturing quality metrics, KPI’s and calibrations.
  • Preform problem identification, resolution, loss reporting and continuous improvement.
  • Develop, execute and analyse quality reporting measures.
  • Assist with other functional department employees to ensure knowledge of all quality standards and ensure compliance to all quality manuals and procedures.
  • Participate in internal and external quality audit.
  • Develop and determine all standards to preform inspection and tests on all procedures.
  • Perform surveillance visits of all work methods and maintain knowledge on all quality assurance standards.
  • Engage with the supply chain and project team for a correct deployment of quality processes.
  • Work closely with sales and technical support to ensure client issues are investigated thoroughly, root causes are traced and corrective actions are implemented.

Essentials:

  • 3+ years’ experience working within Medical Device Manufacturing Industry.
  • Degree or Equivalent within Science related discipline.
  • Working knowledge of Internal and Supplied Auditing.
  • Understanding of calibrations.
  • Excellent Verbal and Non-Verbal Communication.
  • Ability to learn and respond to ever-changing environments.
