Quality Engineer - Limerick

INFORM3 are recruiting for a Quality Engineer to maintain an independent quality overview over our client’s processes and outputs.

The ideal candidate should have around 2+ years’ experience in a similar role with proven experience designing, implementing and overseeing quality improvements in the manufacturing sector.

Duties Include:

  • You will play an integral role as part of a small, yet highly productive team, establishing strong working relationships with customers, as well as colleagues.
  • Providing technical support – especially regarding production issues – you will be key in maintaining and developing customer relationships and developing the business.
  • Ensure sound GMP monitoring and driving for continuous improvement throughout the company.
  • Prepare specifications and ensuring old ones are updated in an accordingly manner.
  • Working efficiently within the Quality Department to ensure delivery of safe products that meet customer specifications.
  • Carry out Audits when required and deal with customer complaints.
  • Complete all weekly and daily key performance indicator reports accurately.
  • Report to the Quality Manager, covering all aspects of FSSC standards.

 

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Degree or equivalent in Food Science/Technology discipline.
  • 2+ years’ experience within a similar role/environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of quality management techniques such as HACCP.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, being both persuasive and assertive.
  • Methodical and logical with an ability to provide solutions
  • Strong mathematic, written English and IT skills, demonstrable experience of Microsoft applications.
  • Highly organised, disciplined, and able to maintain high standards while unsupervised.
  • Excellent communication skills.

This role offers excellent working hours Monday to Friday with a 4pm finish on the Friday along with pension scheme and other benefits included.
