Salary - €40K - €45K BOE

About the Company:

A Manufacturing Company located in County Louth are currently expanding their team and are currently looking for a Quality Engineer to join their expanding team.

The role offers the chance to be part of a close-knit team, while developing your own knowledge and skills. The individual should be highly motivated with a willingness to succeed within the company as they expect pace, cooperation and accountability.

You will be involved in the implementation of Quality Management Systems and support the overall quality across the company and work with the Engineering Team.

Roles & Responsibilities Include:

• Responsible for management of documented information in compliance with the ISO standard requirements.
• Prepare and update company documents and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in line with ISO 9001 and business requirements
• Ensure compliance with all our business process documentation.
• Provide reports on business process documentation compliance to Senior Management.
• Provide support to internal audits and regulatory inspections.
• Management of company Quality Management System (QMS).
• Communicating QMS document changes to relevant departments promptly and efficiently
• Support other departments and functions in the compliance with their QMS responsibilities
• Assist with induction training with new hires on Quality topics as required.
• Preparation of quality reports for quality meetings, management and customer reviews as required and analyse key metrics.
• Lead person for implementing new standards such as ISO 27001 and ISO 17025 etc.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a scientific or engineering field.
• 3+ years’ experience working within a Quality related role.
• Strong communication skills; both verbal and written
• Proficient Microsoft office user (including SharePoint and Teams)
• Detailed orientated
• Demonstrable self-motivation with the ability to multitask
• Full Driver’s License is required for travelling to client sites.
