Job Title – Quality Inspector
Job Location – Co. Galway
Salary – €37K - €40K (Dependent on Experience)
About the Company:
Our client, a successful engineering company specialising in the design and manufacture of precision parts and equipment for the aerospace and medical device industries, is looking for a Quality Inspector to join their team.
This is a great opportunity for a skilled and motivated individual looking to develop their quality experience within a successful and collaborative engineering environment.
Role Includes:
- Carry out visual and dimensional inspections of finished products.
- Ensure parts meet customer and specification requirements.
- Approve finished parts and provide feedback to machinists on quality issues.
- Record inspection results and complete relevant quality documentation.
- Complete customer paperwork, including CoCs and FAIs.
- Operate vision inspection systems.
- Support other quality-related activities as required.
Requirements:
- 2+ years’ experience with inspection and measurement equipment, such as calipers, micrometers and height gauges.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Understanding of machining processes, particularly CNC and lathes, is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel or similar software.
