An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading Manufacturing Company based in County Louth that are currently looking for a Quality Manager to join their ever-expanding team.

This is an exciting time to join a highly dedicated team of motivated individuals, with a lot happening and an eager attitude for work. The successful candidate should have 3+ years’ experience in a similar role, with knowledge of the Manufacturing Industry.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the Quality Management systems is fully implemented at all times.
  • To participate and execute internal and external quality audits.
  • Be accountable for the Quality arrangement and documentation of every activity within the business.
  • Work on projects from the concept through to the completion.
  • Ensure that delivered product quality meets company and customer standards and required documentation is proved in a timely manner.
  • Develop and determine all standards to preform inspection and tests on all procedures.
  • To perform final Quality control checks of systems before and after they are used.
  • Perform surveillance checks on all work methods and maintain knowledge on all quality assurance standards.
  • Hold on to and file all certificates and documentation for all inspections, measuring and test equipment.
  • Monitor and close out all non-conformance reports.
  • Attend client site quality meetings as necessary to affect a successful project outcome.
  • Adhere to the companies H&S measures and implement them on a day-to-day basis.

Experience & Knowledge:

The successful candidate should have 3+ years’ experience as a Quality Manager or similar, with this they should hold extensive knowledge of Quality/Mechanical Engineering.

Skills Required:

  • Degree or equivalent within Quality/Engineering.
  • Proven experience leading managing quality team.
  • Working knowledge of quality management systems.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to work well to own initiative.
  • Strong organisational skills.
