Quality Specialist                      Co. Carlow          €45-50K

There is a great opportunity for an experienced Quality Specialist to join our clients company based in County Carlow who are continuing to grow within the Manufacturing Environment.

You will support the Site Quality Manager to ensure the Maintenance and Continuous Improvement of all aspects of a GMP Quality Management System (QA and QC responsibilities).

Duties Include:

• Compliance with Regulatory Requirements and Quality Systems Management.
• Technical writing of PQMS documents, to include documentation creation and updates as required.
• Maintain oversight for facility hygiene.
• Process validation processes.
• Review and approve SOPs, procedures, master and executed batch documentation, protocols and reports.
• Maintenance of training programme and job descriptions for all staff.
• Maintenance of Quality Management Review Meetings.
• Maintenance of temperature monitoring of the GMP area, and of incoming and outgoing product shipments.
• Maintaining and ensuring compliance to GMP as they pertain to the manufacturing, packaging, labelling, testing and storage of materials and finished product.
• Ensure that all necessary testing is carried out and all associated records evaluated.
• Ensure the qualification and maintenance of the departments, premises and equipment.

Essential Criteria Required:

• 4+ years’ experience within a similar role ideally within a manufacturing/engineering environment.
• Quality Systems Management experience.
• Experience and understanding of working in the same or similar role in GMP Environment.
• Excellent Communication and written skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• Working knowledge of production planning in a fast-paced environment.
