Job Title – Quality Supervisor

Job Location – Co. Longford

Salary – €45K - €60K (Dependent on Experience)

 

About the Company:

INFORM3 are recruiting for a Quality Supervisor to maintain an independent quality overview over our client’s processes and outputs.

The ideal candidate should have around 3+ years’ experience in a similar role with proven experience designing, implementing and overseeing quality improvements in the manufacturing sector.

 

Duties Include:

  • Supervise, support, and develop QA / QC Technicians.
  • Plan workload, assign tasks, and ensure appropriate coverage across production lines.
  • Play an integral role as part of a small, yet highly productive team, establishing strong working relationships with customers, as well as colleagues.
  • Providing technical support – especially regarding production issues – you will be key in maintaining and developing customer relationships and developing the business.
  • Support site audit readiness (BRCGS, IFS, retailer audits, regulatory inspections) by maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation.
  • Ensure traceability, product control, and GMP standards are consistently met across all production areas.
  • Prepare specifications and ensuring old ones are updated in an accordingly manner.
  • Working efficiently within the Quality Department to ensure delivery of safe products that meet customer specifications.
  • Carry out Audits when required and deal with customer complaints.
  • Complete all weekly and daily key performance indicator reports accurately.
  • Work collaboratively with Production, Engineering, Warehouse, and technical functions to resolve quality issues.
  • Respond to customer complaints and rejections.
  • Perform root cause analysis and put corrective actions in place where non-compliance is identified on the production floor or with product quality.

 

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Degree or equivalent in Food Science/Technology discipline.
  • 3+ years’ experience within a similar role/environment.
  • Experience in a Quality role within the food manufacturing industry (supervisory experience preferred).
  • Extensive knowledge of quality management techniques such as HACCP.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, being both persuasive and assertive.
  • Methodical and logical with an ability to provide solutions
  • Strong mathematic, written English and IT skills, demonstrable experience of Microsoft applications.
  • Highly organised, disciplined, and able to maintain high standards while unsupervised.
  • Excellent communication skills.
