Quality Technician - Down

Quality Technician          Banbridge           £25-30k

The Quality Technician will have responsibility for the safety, technical standards and quality of work completed under their supervision, providing quality and inspection support and to develop the right first-time philosophy.

If you have previous experience of inspection gained in an engineering/manufacturing environment, then we want to hear from you.

Duties:

• Maintain quality control within the manufacturing process
• Check and verify the compliance of components produced at all stages
• Support and promote improvement activities within the fabrication processes
• Ensure all products match technical drawings
• Work within cross functional teams to support business development, growth and improvement projects
• Ensuring that the results of inspection and testing are recorded correctly on the appropriate certificates or reports

Essential skills

• 1+ years Quality experience in the Electrical/Mechanical or Manufacturing Sector
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation
• Highly analytical with an excellent attention to detail
• Sound understanding of Health & Safety obligations
• Have good communication and organisation skills
