Quantity Surveyor / Estimator – Armagh
The Company
Building and Civils company based in Armagh running for the last 50 years are looking for an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor/ Estimator. The company has a turnover in excess of £40 million and are working across Ireland and the UK, there are amazing employee benefits and competitive salary to join the team.
Specialising in industrial, residential, education/community working on projects from the value of £1- 6 million. You will be working across the Civil and Water Infrastructure projects.
This company focus on the health and wellbeing of their staff, and providing training and development.
The Role
- Negotiating and appointing sub-contractors to schemes.
- Managing sub-contractor package’s through from appointment to final account.
- Dealing with all commercial matters with clients.
- The submission of all valuations and variations on schemes.
- Providing monthly cost reports in line with project budgets.
- Building close working relationship with Contracts Manger’s and Site teams to deliver quality projects.
- Identifying cost issues.
- Undertaking any other duties as allocated.
Criteria
- Degree in QS or relation construction discipline.
- 5+ years’ experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Packages
- Full clean driver license.
