A Civils company based in South Dublin have an opening for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team. They have been successfully working on some of the largest projects in Ireland including commercial office and retail projects, private and pubic residential housing and large infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities
- Sub Contract procurement
- Post and Pre-Contract Duties
- Negotiating Final Accounts
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly management reports when instructed.
- Contributing to achieve appropriate commercial result and report on contract profitability
- Ensure works are valued and payment obtained in accordance with the contract terms
- Assist with the preparation of estimates and cost plans and in the development of programmes for the delivery
- Contribute to the formulation of the monthly financial reports, both internal management accounts and external applications for payment
- Maintain effective communication with the site teams
- Provide commercial contact with supply chain partners through pre-contract meetings, contract vetting and input to subcontract documents.
- Provide and control strategy of commercial contacts with client’s representatives.
- Commercial management of subcontractors.
- Monitor the timely production of reliable cost performance data.
- Provide commercial input to project strategy.
- Be responsible for the timely production of appropriate levels of applications for payments in accordance with the provisions of the conditions of contract.
- Provide commercial advice to the site team, and management on all contractual issues.
- Attend and provide input to all site commercial meetings.
Requirements
- Level 8 degree in Construction Economics/Quantity Surveying
- Five years + experience
- Proficient in Excel, Microsoft etc.
- Safe Pass
- Full Driver License
