The Company
A family run demolition and earthworks business have been experiencing considerable growth in the last two years and are delighted to be expanding their team with an opening for a QS. Joining a team and working closely with the project manager and the director you will work on projects from high rise buildings and excavation works.
If you are looking a challenge in a fast-paced environment which will require independent working this is the role for you. The company place heavy emphasis on committing and investing in their employees and providing training and career progression.
The Role:
- Assist with cost management and cost checking
- Attending pre- and post-tender meetings
- Variations and measurements of projects
- Assisting the project management team in carrying out QS functions.
- Assisting in the prep of subcontract orders- tender enquiries to placement of order
- Assisting in the preparation of final accounts
What you need:
- Degree qualified in QS
- Main Contractor experience
- 2 plus years’ experience
- Proficient on Microsoft Office & Excel
- Self-motivated and organised
