Specialist Fit out company experiencing major growth, looking for a Quantity Surveyor who is enthusiastic, hardworking and ambitious to drive their career forward. You will work on various projects and gain invaluable experience and have the support of a team of Quantity Surveyors and Senior Management. This role is fast paced and the company is forward thinking, innovative and wants to invest in you and your future.
The Role
- To carry out site visits when required and record the progress of works on site such as measurements and valuations of works (on site and from drawings).
- To prepare specified documents to this role, including cost estimates, feasibility studies, bills of quantities, tender documents, contract documents, financial reporting, and final accounts preparation/negotiation.
- To assist in the preparation of material orders and subcontracts.
Criteria
- Degree qualified in QS
- 2+ years’ experience
- Ability to work independently and part of a team
- A can-do attitude and flexible approach to all tasks
- Proficient in Microsoft Packages
- Creating good working relations with people and professionals of all levels involved in the construction industry, including clients, architects, engineers, contractors and others.
