Quantity Surveyor -Dublin
The Company
Main contractor and design build partner running from 1975 have secured tenders for projects starting in May/June. They are looking for an experienced quantity surveyor to join them team and oversee the surveying of these projects. The company works across retail, logistics, pharma, health, mixed use, office, residential and tech. Working on small to large scale projects ranging up to €70 million.
The Role
- Preparing and Analysing costings for tenders
- Preparing tender and contract documents, including BOQ with the architect and client.
- Cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work.
- Performing risk, value management and cost control
- Identifying and analysing, developing responses to commercial risks.
- Allocating work to subcontractors
- Writing detailed progress reports
Criteria
- Degree qualified in QS
- 5+ years’ experience
- Ability to work independently and part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Packages
