Quantity Surveyor - Cavan
The Company
Contractor in Cavan looking for a Quantity Surveyor with between 3-5years experience. This building contractor works on commercial, residential, education and offers civil engineering services, including site clearance, renovations, groundworks.
The Role
- Responsible for pricing tender opportunities
- Analyse drawings, specifications, client pricing documentation and other documentation for inclusion in the BoQ.
- Obtain and analyse quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Ensure that cost planning and estimating are accurate
- Prepare accurate costings for the works.
- Detailed analysis of subcontractors’ and direct labour analysis
- preparation of plant & material schedules and risk assessment
- Carry out measurement and take-offs, pricing and entering the system
- Visit sites, log changes and agree.
Criteria:
- Degree qualified in QS
- 3-5 years’ experience
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Proficient in pricing and quantification methods.
